Today, we’re thrilled to share a major milestone: Chargeflow has raised a $35M Series A, led by Viola Growth, with participation from OpenView Venture Partners, Journey Ventures, and world-class angels, including David Avgi, former CEO of SafeCharge.

The round includes a $10M debt facility, bringing our total funding to $49M.

This new capital accelerates our mission to solve one of the most complex and painful problems in commerce: friendly fraud. It will fuel global expansion, deepen our partnerships with enterprise merchants and payment platforms, and power the development of Chargeflow Prevent - the first-ever friendly-fraud prevention solution.

Our Momentum

In the last year, our revenue tripled and our customer base doubled.

Today, Chargeflow protects 15,000+ businesses, including Miro, Huel, Fanatics, HexClad, Sweetgreen, Crunchbase, WHOOP, and Elementor, and has helped recover over $100M in disputed revenue.

But this journey didn’t begin with a pitch deck. It began with pain.

At our previous company, Avia and I built a fast-growing global beauty brand with a subscription box loved by hundreds of thousands of customers. And then the chargebacks hit.

We searched everywhere for a solution that could automate the chaos, offer transparency, prevent misuse, and protect our margins. Nothing existed. So we sold that brand and built what we desperately needed.

That became Chargeflow - built to protect fellow entrepreneurs and enterprise merchants everywhere.

Why Now

Chargebacks are exploding. Mastercard projects a 24% increase in global disputes from 2025–2028, reaching 324 million chargebacks per year. Up to 75% of these are first-party misuse.

At the same time, e-commerce continues its rapid climb toward $7.4T in annual sales.

The world doesn’t need another “dispute tool.” It needs a full reinvention of how chargebacks and post-purchase operations work - not just fighting disputes, but preventing them, and automating everything else.

A plug-and-play API layer that allows payment providers to embed Chargeflow’s Prevent, Automation, Alerts, and Insights directly into their products - enabling them to deliver full chargeback automation to every merchant they serve.

This year alone, we shipped 30+ new integrations, including the industry’s first AI-powered automated customer communication analysis for Gmail, Zendesk, and Gorgias - plus new partnerships with WooCommerce, Airwallex, and more.
