Yuval Ben-Ami is the Head of Product at Chargeflow, where he leads product vision, strategy, and execution for the AI-powered chargeback automation platform serving 20,000+ ecommerce merchants. He joined Chargeflow in June 2022 as a Product Manager and was promoted from PM to Product Lead to Head of Product, reaching the head-of-function role within roughly two years - a progression corroborated across LinkedIn, TheOrg, and ZoomInfo.
Yuval's product DNA started in the Israel Defense Forces, where he served in the Israeli Navy as a Naval Weapons Officer and Deputy Team Leader, and held a formal Product Manager role inside the IDF. That military PM foundation gave him operational product experience well before his civilian career. He went on to lead Sales and then Customer Service & Project Management at Indigo, an Israeli retail chain, before moving into fintech.
At Chargeflow he drives the roadmap across the company's machine learning and generative AI systems that automatically assemble chargeback evidence, the platform's payments-API integrations (Stripe, WooCommerce, Shopify and adjacent ecosystems), and the merchant-facing tooling that lets ecommerce teams protect revenue without operating a dispute department. He authored the launch announcement for Chargeflow's WooCommerce plugin and writes for Chargeflow's blog on dispute workflows, integrations, and product strategy. He holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Business Management from The Open University of Israel.
Yuval writes about chargeback automation, payments-API integrations, generative AI applied to dispute evidence, and B2B SaaS product strategy. His primary audience is ecommerce founders, payment ops leaders, and finance teams managing disputes.
